Tenants gather and relax year-round in our outdoor pool area to enjoy the sunshine. There is pleny of new patio furniture including table and chairs, sun bathing loungers, and plants. The pool is oblong shaped, measuring depths of 3-1/2 feet in the shallow end to 8 feet in the deepest end; a good pool for lap swimming! The pool is heated whenever tenants will use the pool - epecially summer weekends and during heat-waves. Pool hours are 8am to 9pm daily. During the day there is usually plenty of shade and sun, suiting everyone's preference.

Tenants enjoy the convenience of a hydraulic lift elevator on the premises. The elevator is serviced regularly by Star Elevator Company. Each tenant receives an elevator "call key" and usage instructions upon move-in.

A bikeport was recently added to the grounds, providing tenants with a convenient covered place to park and lock their bicycles.

Each tenant is assigned one parking spot upon move-in. The carports are well lighted and convenient to residents in both Village Square buildings. Each carport space comes with a personal storage cabinet.

Tenants have use of their own assigned lockable storage cabinet in their carport.

Village Square believes in recycling! The on-site garbage and recycle room contains six garbage bins for regular trash, and four specialized bins marked for various recyclables, including glass, plastic, aluminum, paper products, and corrugated cardboard. And for other specialized recyclables, the local BFI recyclery is less than 2 miles away! BFI recycles many personal items including computers, cell phones, TVs, appliances, and other materials at little or no cost. For more information, see the BFI website.

The Village Square laundry room contains three coin-operated washers and dryers (prices are much lower than local laundromats). Laundry Room hours are 8:30am to 8:30pm daily, and also features a folding table, hanger pole, and a lost-and-found.

The Village Square Resident Manager operates an on-site office that is convenient for all tenants. The office safely houses all tenant and business files, as well as local information and other supplies. Tenants can also drop their rent checks right through the office mailslot; no stamping/mailing necessary! Unlike other buildings, the Manager also LIVES on-site, and the main number is a cell phone, helping to ensure Village Square is always a great place to live.
